Why We Exist
Social media used to be about people. Somewhere along the way it became about engagement metrics, programmatic ad auctions, and behavioural profiles bought and sold by data brokers most users have never heard of. The companies that own the largest networks now answer to advertisers first and to their users somewhere much further down the list. Feeds are tuned to maximise time-on-app, not the quality of what you see; recommendation systems amplify outrage because outrage scrolls; and the people on the other side of the screen are reduced to inventory.
bmazed exists because we think a different bargain is possible. THRN — real-time matching. Type what's on your mind. If someone else types the same thing within seconds, you instantly match and can chat. No profile-browsing, no swiping, no algorithmic ranking — just synchronicity between strangers.
Global Circles. Public, content-themed spaces open to members worldwide. Post, reply, and discover other people thinking about the same topics, places, or moments — without an engagement algorithm deciding whose voice gets heard.
Vault Messenger. Encrypted private messaging built into bmazed. Vault conversations are encrypted at rest on bmazed servers using AES-256-GCM — private between participants, never shared with third parties, and never used for any commercial purpose. In the event of a lawful request, bmazed may be required to disclose message contents, as encryption keys are server-managed.
Local events. Active members and verified businesses can host real-world meetups — small, in-person gatherings that turn online connection into actual presence. Organisers set the rules; bmazed handles RSVPs, reminders, and safety reporting.
